Domestic Short Hair (short coat) Cat

General Jingles the Cat needs a home

Everyone meet General Jingles!! I know, I know, the guy looks a little rough, but you would too if you spent your whole life living outside! General Jingles is so happy to have landed with Community Cat where he now gets nummy food, a comfy bed, and lots of head rubs. This guy has such a sweet soul too. He would make the BEST companion to cuddle up and watch TV with on these cold nights. General Jingles is listed as special needs because he has FIV, which is a virus that causes a lower immune system. Another good reason he belongs in a loving home! Let’s make sure this sweetheart gets a lifetime of love from here on out :)

FIV, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, is a virus that cats an contract that affects their immune system. A common misconception is that it is "kitty AIDS," which is not the case. Cats with FIV can lead normal lives but to require a bit of extra attention to their health since their immune system is not 100%. FIV cats can live and co-exist happily with non-FIV cats, for more information visit:

If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: http://www.commcat.org . Please allow several days for us to process your application. We are a small, all-volunteer group and we are doing our best to work quickly! After the application is processed we will make arrangements for you to meet the cats that interest you.

All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect cat! Cats are rarely caged (only if its medically necessary) so you can visit with them and see how they act in a home. Our adoption fees are $50 for adult cats, $85 for kittens under one year, and double the love with two adult cats for $85. All cats are spayed or neutered, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, tested for FIV and FeLV (feline leukemia), and microchipped.
